Senior Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to protect our systems, data and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with IT, DevOps and other teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle and continuously improve our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.
• Triage cybersecurity requests and manage security ingestion queues.
• Design, review and audit automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline IAM processes.
• Define, manage and enforce access permissions based on least‑privilege and separation‑of‑duties principles.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and support internal and external audit activities.
• Monitor and analyse security metrics, identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and cross‑functional teams to integrate security into development and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills in English (B2+).
• Industry‑recognised certifications such as CISSP, CEH or CISM are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming for security automation.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS and DLP.
