Senior SOC Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a Senior SOC Engineer at BairesDev, you will act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers using a converged XDR/SIEM/SOAR platform. The role blends deep security‑operations expertise with customer‑facing responsibilities, helping clients extract real value from their security investments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as product subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor for enterprise customers.
• Troubleshoot critical issues, applying detection, triage, and incident‑response expertise.
• Write scripts and build custom integrations to automate customer workflows.
• Train customers and create knowledge‑base articles and guides to drive product adoption.
• Help customers realize ROI and ongoing value from their security platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years in Security Operations, including detection, triage, incident response, automation, and tool administration.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, CrowdStrike Falcon, or equivalents.
• Strong scripting ability in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Linux system administration and production‑environment troubleshooting.
• Cloud security awareness across GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proven customer‑facing experience with excellent English communication skills.
