Senior Structural Engineer – Santiago, Chile

About the role

Redtree Engineering is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design and development of structural systems for industrial facilities, power generation, mining and energy infrastructure in Santiago, Chile.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, foundations and support structures for industrial and energy projects.
• Take technical ownership of calculations, design packages, engineering reports, specifications and construction documents.
• Review and approve structural plans, drawings, calculations and technical reports prepared by team members.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, controls and Revit modeling teams throughout project execution.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits and provide construction support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of hands‑on structural engineering experience in industrial, energy, mining or oil & gas environments.
• Demonstrated experience performing structural analysis and design as a primary responsibility.

Required skills

• Design of structural steel, pipe racks, reinforced concrete and foundations.
• Equipment support system design for turbines, boilers and other rotating machinery.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Robot, SAP2000 or STAAD Pro.
• Coordination with Revit modeling teams.
• Advanced English communication skills.
