About the role

The Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate of NHS Fife is seeking a Senior Support Assistant to provide high‑level business support across its Pharmacy and Medicines services. You will work closely with teams covering medicines supply, clinical services, education, community pharmacy governance and prescribing.

Key responsibilities

Provide administrative and business support to multiple Pharmacy & Medicines teams.
Develop and maintain processes that ensure smooth service delivery.
Travel to various base locations across Fife to support staff and operations.
Assist with documentation, reporting and coordination of meetings.
Act as a liaison between the Business Support Team and clinical colleagues.

Required profile

Education to HNC level or equivalent experience.
Strong business support experience in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to the demands of modern healthcare.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
