Shopify Developer (Frontend) – Remote

About the role

GOAT.Digital is seeking a Front‑end Developer with strong Shopify theming and JavaScript (ES6+) skills to work remotely for its growing portfolio of eCommerce clients across LATAM. The role involves building responsive, high‑quality websites from concept to launch and supporting existing stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive implementations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain code quality with Git, branches, and pull requests.
• Support and enhance existing eCommerce sites, fixing bugs and adding features.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of front‑end development experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong English communication skills for meetings and written correspondence.

Required skills

• Shopify theme development and Liquid templating.
• JavaScript (ES6+), modern front‑end patterns.
• HTML5, clean semantic markup.
• CSS/SCSS, responsive and adaptive design.
• Git (branches, pull requests).
• Figma to code conversion.
• Build tools such as Gulp or Webpack.
