Software Engineer & Data Engineer (Remote - Chile)

About the role

We are looking for experienced engineers to build and scale cloud‑first systems that handle massive data volumes. The positions are fully remote within Chile and involve end‑to‑end ownership from architecture to monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, business, and data science stakeholders to define requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend services in Java and Python, as well as complementary front‑end components in React.
• Design, build, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, distributed components, and cloud integrations.
• Implement unit, integration, and automated tests; enforce CI/CD pipelines and observability.
• Participate in deployments, release processes, performance tuning, and security compliance.
• Leverage AI tools daily for coding acceleration, architecture exploration, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Java and Python; experience with React is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP architectures and modern distributed systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/Aurora) and large‑scale data processing platforms such as BigQuery.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
