Software Engineer (Ruby + Vue) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network as a Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails and Vue.js. You will work remotely with U.S. clients, integrating directly into their product teams and collaborating daily with designers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Build responsive front‑end applications with Vue.js.
• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Maintain production‑grade applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud services.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and code quality.
• Comfortable working 40 hours per week in a remote, collaborative environment.
