About the role

BairesDev is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Stripe to design and implement payment solutions that power its global platforms. This fully remote position focuses on building secure, scalable checkout and billing experiences for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable payment integration architectures using the Stripe API.
• Develop and manage complex billing models, including subscriptions, one‑time payments, and recurring revenue streams.
• Configure and maintain webhook processing systems for real‑time payment events.
• Optimize the end‑to‑end checkout flow to improve conversion rates and user experience.
• Handle payment disputes, refunds, and reconciliation within the Stripe ecosystem.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for handling sensitive financial data.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on billing and payment systems.
• Proven expertise integrating and building solutions with the Stripe API.
• Hands‑on experience with checkout flows, subscriptions, and dispute management.
• Strong background in security and compliance for financial transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
