Staff Data Engineer

About the role

Vidmob is looking for an experienced Staff Data Engineer to design, scale, and operationalise the data infrastructure that powers its creative intelligence platform. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering, machine learning and AI, and requires close partnership with data science to turn experimental models into reliable, customer‑facing products.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable data platforms that support analytics, ML/AI products, reporting APIs and partner integrations.
• Own the full data lifecycle – ingestion, transformation, modelling, validation, lineage, publishing and serving of creative, media, customer and performance data.
• Build batch and near‑real‑time pipelines that are observable, replayable and cost‑efficient.
• Productionise machine‑learning and AI models, scores, embeddings and other outputs in collaboration with Data Science.
• Leverage AI‑driven tools to accelerate engineering, validation, observability, root‑cause analysis and data discovery.
• Travel periodically within Latin America or to the United States for team collaboration and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and operating large‑scale data systems.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining high collaboration standards.
• Comfort with AI‑forward engineering practices and a passion for innovative data solutions.
• Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
