Technical Program Manager III – Data Center Network Infrastructure

About the role

As a Technical Program Manager III you will lead complex, multi‑disciplinary data‑center network infrastructure projects at Google. You will work with internal customers and external partners to define requirements, manage schedules, mitigate risks and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end network infrastructure construction projects, including fiber‑optic cabling, cable trays and rack deployments.
• Coordinate cross‑functional and cross‑geographic teams, aligning stakeholders across offices, time zones and vendors.
• Gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
• Identify and manage project risks, communicate status updates, and enforce formal change‑control processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with design and construction standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience, preferably in data‑center or network infrastructure construction.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects and vendor relationships.
• Experience working in mission‑critical data‑center environments with formal change‑control processes.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment and drive technical direction with limited oversight.
