Treasury & Financial Solutions Andean Specialist

About the role

Syngenta is looking for a Treasury & Financial Solutions Andean Specialist to lead the implementation of treasury and financial solutions across the Andean region. Based in Santiago, the role will act as the central point of contact for banking relationships, finance operations, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and own all activities related to the Treasury and Financial Solutions program implementation.
• Serve as the focal point for banking relationships and third‑party financial partners across Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.
• Coordinate with the Americas Finance Operations (AFO) team in Uruguay to manage treasury activities and ensure alignment with KPIs and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of the Financial Solutions program, ensuring compliance with commercial policies and guidelines.
• Provide accurate intercompany flow data to support cash‑flow management and decision‑making.
• Deliver reporting for Net Financial Expenses (NFE) and cash‑flow targets, supplying analytical input to senior management.
• Collaborate with Credit, Compliance, Audit, IT, FP&A, Tax, Procurement, and customer teams to ensure timely information exchange.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of commercial business processes, treasury operations, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing banking relationships and multi‑country financial programs.
• Ability to interpret and apply global treasury policies and financial solutions guidelines.
• Excellent analytical skills to support cash‑flow forecasting and KPI monitoring.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across diverse functional areas.
