Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Accounting Analyst to join our on‑site team in Los Cerros de Gurabo III, Santiago de los Caballeros. The role supports the multi‑entity closing cycle, tax compliance, and financial analysis within an international‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate ISR, ITBIS, TSS, IR‑17, and 606/607 tax filings; prepare monthly tax analysis and reconcile with accounting records.
• Maintain roll‑forwards for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payable documents, and contracts; calculate doubtful‑account provisions and record accrued but un‑billed items.
• Reconcile and validate subsidiary ledgers for receivables, payables, payroll, and fixed assets against the general ledger.
• Review monthly income statements, analyze variances versus budget and prior periods, and draft financial management reports for senior management.
• Create purchase orders and support inter‑company fund need analysis following current accounting methodology.
• Participate in technical finance projects (profit allocation, regulatory compliance, external audit support) and document processes in SOPs.
• Provide secondary support for payroll posting, client invoicing, and vendor invoice entry during peak periods or staff absences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience with exposure to Dominican tax compliance and multi‑entity closures.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and desire to grow into higher‑responsibility technical roles.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of NCF, 606/607 formats, IR‑17, ITBIS, and TSS.
• Advanced use of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare roll‑forwards, provisions, accruals, and perform ledger reconciliations.
• Functional proficiency in English.
