Accounting Assistant

About the role

DRA Global Limited is seeking an Accounting Assistant for its Peru subsidiary. You will support local and regional financial processes in an international, multicultural environment, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review accounting transactions and journal entries in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Support cash‑flow reporting, payment processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and year‑end financial closing activities.
• Help prepare tax returns and support tax audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Technical Degree/Diploma in Accounting.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Intermediate/Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAGE X3 or similar.
• Interest in leveraging AI‑powered tools and digital technologies.
• Desirable: experience in multinational companies, corporate reporting, or external audit firms.
