About the role

We are looking for a Database Administrator to maintain and optimize the production databases that support our clients' applications. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for database‑related incidents, collaborating with application and data development teams.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server instances, including SQL Agent jobs, stored procedures, indexes, maintenance plans, and performance‑tuning activities.
• Monitor database health, capacity, and performance proactively, resolving issues before they impact users.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to address production incidents and escalate complex cases to the Senior DBA.
• Document recurring problems, solutions, and operational runbooks to enrich the team knowledge base.
• Follow change‑management procedures for schema modifications and other database changes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL Server architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance and availability issues in a production environment.
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast‑paced software development setting.
