AI Product Recommendation Business Logic Expert (English)

About the role

As an AI‑focused Business Logic Expert for e‑commerce search relevance, you will help train an intelligence engine that suggests the most relevant products to online shoppers. You will work with massive catalogs across sectors such as fashion, sport, high‑tech, and ensure the human logic behind each recommendation is coherent, functional, and commercially attractive.

Main responsibilities

• Product pair creation: match items by colour, pattern, style or range to guarantee visual harmony.
• Compatibility verification: ensure products work together for the same use case (e.g., gravel vs. road cycling equipment).
• Metadata analysis: consider gender, price tier, seasonality and other attributes to validate commercial relevance.
• Data integrity maintenance: structure and clean match lists following each brand’s and category’s guidelines.
• Sector research: quickly learn new product domains (ski, fitness, home accessories, etc.) to select optimal associations.

Profile

• Proven experience in search relevance, product categorization or e‑commerce content moderation.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex technical categories quickly.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, rigorous, able to work autonomously while collaborating with technical and marketing teams.
