AI Safety Operator – Data Collection Driver

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated self‑starter to join our Full‑Self‑Driving (FSD) supervised team as an AI Safety Operator. In this role you will drive an engineering vehicle for extended periods, collecting audio and camera data while providing ride‑hailing services to support testing and training of autonomous driving systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a designated engineering vehicle for 6‑8 hours daily, covering a specific geographic area.
• Manage ride‑hailing services, including driver and rider coordination.
• Start and stop recording equipment, perform minor debugging of hardware or software as needed.
• Analyze data quality after each shift and produce detailed drive reports.
• Provide feedback to improve data‑collection processes and ensure vehicle safety before every shift.
• Travel to domestic locations when required and work flexible schedules, including weekends and day, afternoon, or night shifts.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving history.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills during data collection.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work overtime, flexible hours, and undergo drug testing in accordance with company policy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using data‑collection tools and troubleshooting PC hardware/software.
• Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) preferred.
