About the role

The Indirect Purchases Analyst (Level 1) supports BD's global medical technology operations by managing the procurement of goods and services that are not directly tied to product manufacturing. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely processing, and compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders for indirect goods and services, maintaining proper documentation and meeting established timelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate purchasing needs into clear requirements.
• Send purchase orders to suppliers and confirm receipt according to company policy.
• Enter invoices through designated channels and monitor daily for payment readiness.
• Track pending purchase orders that have not yet been invoiced.
• Organize and maintain files related to procurement activities.
• Validate invoice details against purchase orders or supplier matrices.
• Assist in resolving issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Ensure adherence to internal purchasing policies and procedures.
• Generate basic reports on the status of indirect purchases.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Foreign Trade or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably focused on indirect purchases.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Proactive attitude with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Intermediate Portuguese is a plus.
