Analytics Engineer

About the role

Join Epiroc’s Global Data Analytics team as an Analytics Engineer, working at the intersection of business and technology. You will partner with stakeholders, platform teams, and AI initiatives to deliver modern, business‑critical analytics solutions at scale. The role is collaborative, engineering‑focused, and outcome‑driven, with strong standards and clear ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into scalable data models, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
• Design and maintain modern data platforms (warehouse / lakehouse) using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports, including advanced calculations and visualizations.
• Define KPIs and provide actionable insights to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Build and optimise data pipelines using SQL and Python for efficient transformation.
• Drive data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytics platforms.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data optimisation.
• Proven experience with Python and Databricks for data engineering and pipeline development.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for building scalable analytics solutions.
• Solid understanding of data modelling techniques to translate business requirements into structured datasets.
