Area Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale mining projects and copper concentrator plants. The role involves providing direction, project management, and leadership for sections of projects valued between USD 100‑500 million.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specialized, high‑impact parts of single or multiple projects, ranging from small/medium to portions of mega‑projects.
• Develop and oversee integrated project plans, aligning business, production, and organisational priorities.
• Present strategic solutions and recommendations to customers, drawing on past experience and internal/external expertise.
• Lead project teams across multiple disciplines and locations, setting clear scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, constructability, operability, and maintainability standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale mining projects.
• Background in the design and delivery of copper concentrator plants.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate project status and key performance indicators effectively.
