Area Sales Manager – CPI

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will drive sales activities and business growth within an assigned territory, focusing on valve automation solutions for the mining industry. Reporting to the Sector Manager, the role serves as a key company representative, delivering high‑quality service and building long‑term customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue and improve profitability across the region through proactive, consultative sales engagement.
• Represent Rotork to customers, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service and alignment with strategic sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with global CPI teams to coordinate cross‑functional efforts, manage customer expectations, and oversee project execution.
• Maintain and expand relationships through direct and indirect sales channels.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of valve automation solutions, especially within the mining sector.
• Proven technical sales experience and dedication to exceptional customer service.
• Strong diplomatic and tactful communication with staff, customers, and suppliers.
• Excellent time‑management, self‑motivation, independence, and self‑reliance.

Required skills

• Valve automation expertise related to the mining industry.
• Proficiency with a CRM system.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
