Business Controller

About the role

Join Volvo Trucks Chile as a Business Controller and use your analytical and financial expertise to support strategic decision‑making for one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. You will work closely with finance and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate planning, reporting, and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing processes, performing variance analysis.
• Monitor and report key business and financial performance indicators for timely decision‑making.
• Provide financial support for business cases, investment evaluations and strategic projects.
• Ensure compliance with Volvo Group financial policies, internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver financial guidance for operational and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and efficiency initiatives within Business Control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Control, FP&A, Controlling or related finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
