Business Development Executive – Energy Market Solutions

About the role

Aurora, a leader in energy market forecasts and consultancy, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its Santiago office. You will promote subscription‑based products and services that support the transition to a more sustainable energy future, working within a dynamic, multinational LATAM sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team in prospecting, qualifying and researching potential clients across assigned markets.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in Salesforce CRM.
• Prepare client‑facing materials such as presentations, proposals and briefing notes under senior guidance.
• Conduct market and company research to inform outreach strategies.
• Coordinate introductory calls, demos and follow‑up meetings with prospects.
• Track and report on sales activities, lead progress and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and research teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Assist with client onboarding and handover after deal closure.
• Support the research team in developing long‑term market outlooks when appropriate.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
