Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive growth for a global garment‑materials company by identifying and converting high‑potential B2B customers. You will work closely with Chinese colleagues to promote new products, manage orders and support logistics across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect high‑potential target customers, conduct regular visits and build strategic partnerships to meet sales targets.
• Conduct market research and product investigations on a regular basis.
• Introduce new items to customers, gather market pricing and product information, and assist Chinese teams in securing new orders.
• Prompt customers to make payments, arrange new orders and follow up on order status.
• Collect information on customs policies, agents, and local logistics to facilitate imports.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by Chinese colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the textile or apparel/home‑textiles sector.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of sales processes, go‑to‑market initiatives and the import process for Chile.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Basic salary ranging from 1,000 to 1,200 USD per month.
• Performance salary of 200–300 USD.
