Business Manager – Aerial/Regional Product Sales

About the role

As a Business Manager you will lead the aerial/regional product and business sales team, connecting customers, markets and growth initiatives. You will be responsible for profitability, customer satisfaction and stable business expansion while collaborating with stakeholders across Valmet worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the aerial/regional product and business sales team, managing customer relationships, market development and solution sales.
• Own profit and loss for the assigned area, implement strategic objectives and drive efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate across Valmet globally to support cross‑business cooperation and develop stable sales pipelines.
• Develop and coach a multi‑functional team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Drive the sales process: prepare budgets, validate cases, support technical and commercial proposals, negotiate and close deals, and be present at customer sites during tenders, shutdowns, audits and studies.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the pulp and paper industry or a comparable sector.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel more than 60 % of the time, including international trips.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities, with a proactive and resilient attitude.
