Centralized Monitoring Lead – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Centralized Monitoring Lead to oversee clinical monitoring activities for LATAM projects on a remote basis. You will partner with project and clinical leads to ensure delivery of study objectives while maintaining speed, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Centralized Monitoring team and provide oversight on clinical deliverables across global projects.
• Manage project resources including CRAs, Central Monitors, Clinical Trial Assistants, and Monitoring Assistants.
• Perform trend analysis of study/site metrics, review alerts, and develop action plans.
• Contribute to study‑specific analytics strategy and advanced analytics development.
• Support the creation of monitoring strategies, triggers, and thresholds.
• Attend client and study team meetings, providing inputs for continuous process improvement.
• Develop and maintain study management plans, RBM tools, and ensure audit‑ready documentation (eTMF oversight).
• Mentor and coach junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical monitoring experience (remote or on‑site).
• At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple global projects and competing priorities.
