Cloud Engineer – Azure Focus

About the role

Infosys is looking for a proactive Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You will design, implement and maintain scalable cloud solutions while ensuring high availability, security and performance for our clients in Chile.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure‑based infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align cloud solutions with business and technical requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues independently using documentation and available resources.
• Maintain version control and code repositories with Git.
• Support cloud operations, including backups, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Document high‑level and low‑level cloud architecture designs.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience with Azure Cloud.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform.
• Solid experience with Git for version control.
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to work independently and research solutions using documentation.
• Intermediate to high proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity, operations).
• Terraform (including Terraform Cloud for Business).
• Git version control.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• DevOps best practices.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and App Service Containers.
• Azure networking components such as NSG, firewall rules, Application Gateway, load balancers, private endpoints.
• Azure backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Cloud architecture documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
