Community Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned trader who can own and grow the Kraken Pro community. You will be the voice that informs, engages, and energises serious crypto traders across multiple platforms, acting as the bridge between users and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit and other channels, posting real‑time market updates before screenshots circulate.
• Develop and run an ambassador and power‑user program that brings market makers, quant desks and high‑volume traders into the feedback loop.
• Organise and host public events such as AMAs, live‑trading sessions, feature launches, competitions and post‑mortems.
• Gather product‑related issues from the community, deliver detailed receipts to product managers and close the feedback loop by communicating resolutions.
• Produce clear, share‑worthy content – micro‑structure threads, feature teardowns, release‑note style posts that the community will screenshot.
• Track and report community metrics such as sentiment, share of voice, sign‑ups and retention of high‑value accounts.

Required profile

• Active trader with real positions and a deep understanding of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage and latency.
• 3+ years managing community or social channels for a technical, skeptical audience (crypto, fintech, gaming or dev‑tools experience accepted).
• Fast, accurate writing ability for both short‑form posts and long‑form analyses that stand up to scrutiny.
• Thick‑skinned and instinctive de‑escalation skills; comfortable handling public criticism without corporate scripts.
• Proven track record of building a community from scratch rather than merely maintaining an existing one.
• Self‑directed decision‑making without waiting for lengthy approval chains, thriving in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment.
