Construction Coordinator

About the role

Join Alstom as a Construction Coordinator and apply your experience in coordinating and supervising construction works within the railway and transport sector. You will work closely with engineering, quality, safety and logistics teams to ensure project strategies are implemented and standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage construction and installation risks to minimise project impacts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Monitor construction progress and report to the Construction Project Manager.
• Implement safety measures on the construction site and promote a safety culture among teams.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on‑site in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with Alstom’s strategies, policies, standards, local regulations and professional norms.
• Lead coordination between different teams to ensure effective integration of Alstom subsystems.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related field.
• Experience or knowledge in coordinating construction and installation projects.
• Understanding of industry standards, local regulations and professional norms.
• Ability to work in a team and lead multidisciplinary workgroups.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Commitment to safety and knowledge of safe work practices.

Required skills

• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Experience with construction planning software.
