Construction Superintendent

About the role

Fluor is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead field construction activities across multiple craft areas. The role involves ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates while fostering a safe and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all field construction activities for assigned crafts.
• Plan and coordinate work activities, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Approve and authorize craft personnel deployment and resource allocation.
• Support project and construction management with proper means and methods.
• Analyze complex situations, forecast issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Fluor’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Craft certification, training, and at least 13 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Technical knowledge necessary to complete construction supervision tasks.
• Ability to understand and apply local, state/province, and federal regulations.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work efficiently under time constraints.
