Contract Specialist – Commercial Bidding & Negotiations

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Specialist with a legal background to lead commercial bidding, contract negotiation, and compliance activities for our telecom and IT projects in Chile. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop proposals, manage risks, and ensure contracts align with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated commercial solutions for bidding projects, including proposal development, cost and risk analysis, and post‑bid clarifications.
• Organise internal contract reviews and approvals to support project bidding and execution.
• Conduct commercial negotiations, coordinate finance, legal, tax and logistics teams, draft sales contracts and provide post‑signing support.
• Analyse market data to design business models that reduce risks and costs.
• Ensure compliance with Chilean legal frameworks and international trade conventions (contract law, corporate law, IP).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract negotiation, international bidding, trade or finance, preferably in telecom/IT.
• Experience handling legal/contractual matters (e.g., lawyer role) is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Santiago, Chile.
