Controller & Head of Finance – Santiago, Chile

About the role

We are seeking a Controller and Head of Finance to lead all accounting and finance operations for our Chilean entity based in Santiago. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Finance in the United States, you will ensure robust financial governance, statutory compliance, and accurate reporting while collaborating with an international finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function for the Chilean entity, including month‑end and year‑end closes.
• Maintain compliance with Chilean statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external audit processes and uphold internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Partner with global finance colleagues on reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Support cross‑departmental projects that enhance financial procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Comfortable influencing stakeholders across time zones.
• Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
