Country Finance Manager – Chile

About the role

SSC Space is seeking a Country Finance Manager for Chile to lead the finance function in Santiago and join the local leadership team. This high‑impact position combines financial leadership, business partnering, operational insight, and international collaboration to drive the financial health of the Chilean operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and month‑end close, ensuring timely, accurate, IFRS‑compliant results.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning, KPI reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for local and senior leadership.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections and inter‑company processes.
• Lead tax compliance, external audits, technical accounting matters and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and data integrity across ERP and consolidation processes.
• Manage payroll processes and coordinate with external payroll providers.
• Partner with operational teams and international stakeholders to improve processes and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controlling or similar leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, internal controls and IFRS.
• Experience with month‑end close, consolidation, inter‑company, treasury, tax, audits, AR and AP.
• Proven ability to lead finance and/or administration teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of driving process improvement, automation and organizational change.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience in a multinational or technology‑driven environment is highly desirable.
