Customer Success Specialist, Life Sciences

About the role

As a Customer Success Specialist you will help professors at leading US universities integrate JoVE videos into their courses, improving teaching outcomes and student success. You will ensure users receive maximum value from their JoVE subscription.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to faculty via calls, emails and 1:1 demos to set up JoVE integrations and boost product usage.
• Deliver product awareness sessions to existing university and research institute customers to increase adoption.
• Present at exhibits, conferences, university seminars, workshops and onsite visits to grow engagement and usage.
• Support smooth implementation and consistent use of JoVE resources to strengthen subscription renewal outcomes.
• Communicate customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams to influence product decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in a life‑science discipline.
• Experience in science communications, academic outreach or other customer‑facing roles (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of education market trends and challenges in areas such as biology, chemistry, medicine, physics, engineering or psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for remote relationship‑building.
• Experience with cold‑calling and networking (preferred).
