Cybersecurity Internal Assessor

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Internal Assessor to join our global internal assessment team. You will support assurance activities across multiple cybersecurity standards and regulations, evaluate controls, and help ensure regulatory readiness for a large, multinational organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct internal assessments focused on ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, EU NIS2, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of cybersecurity controls, document gaps and support remediation across business units, countries and product lines.
• Conduct M&A security assessments and secure shutdown activities, including de‑commissioning of systems and access‑rights reviews.
• Facilitate interviews and workshops with control owners, product teams and other stakeholders to gather evidence and validate findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Risk Management or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, internal audit, GRC or regulatory assessments within large multinational environments.
• Strong analytical, interviewing, documentation and report‑writing abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to work independently across an international setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Familiarity with EU NIS2 Directive and EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical assessment criteria and evidence expectations.
