Demand Planner

About the role

Clorox is seeking a Demand Planner to lead forecasting excellence for its Chile operations. The role combines data analysis, cross‑functional collaboration and S&OP support to ensure accurate demand plans that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain short‑ and long‑term demand forecasts across product categories and customer accounts.
• Create statistical baseline forecasts and enrich them with market trends, commercial insights and cross‑functional inputs.
• Lead demand alignment and consensus meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, sales performance and demand‑planning KPIs to identify risks and improvement actions.
• Support the S&OP process by delivering an unconstrained, consensus‑based demand plan.
• Manage assumptions for product launches, discontinuations, promotions and market changes.
• Generate reports, analyses and presentations for operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Maintain master data integrity, including product and customer hierarchies.
• Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve forecasting processes and collaboration.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of demand planning experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.

Required skills

• Experience with forecasting systems such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Jon Galt, i2 Demand Planner, APO Demand Planning or Logility.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Knowledge of ERP systems and supply‑chain functions including production scheduling, demand planning and MRP processes.
