Deployment Engineer – Robotics Automation

About the role

GeekPlus is seeking a Deployment Engineer to lead the implementation and maintenance of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) systems at customer sites. You will act as the main liaison between project managers, supply chain specialists, service program managers, suppliers, and customers, ensuring successful deployment and optimization of our robotic fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of contractors, setting clear expectations and monitoring performance.
• Plan and execute onsite implementation projects, defining scope, budget, schedule, and subcontracting services.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with internal and external stakeholders, especially supply chain teams.
• Conduct hardware inspections, quality control checks, and pre‑deployment testing.
• Prepare hardware environments for SIT, UAT, and performance testing and participate in testing activities.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware‑related issues both remotely and onsite to minimize downtime.
• Document hardware issues, solutions, and best practices.
• Stay current with advancements in autonomous robotics hardware and share insights.
• Develop and deliver training for customers, team members, and service partners.

Required profile

• Ability to manage site implementation across client operations, IT teams, and contractors.
• Experience with warehouse or manufacturing automation and electrical/mechanical installation.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Quick learner who can adapt to complex issues and new technologies.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong problem‑solving drive.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and MS Office suites.
