Deployment Strategist - Agentic AI

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists in Santiago, Chile. These customer-facing advisors define AI strategy, shape agentic solutions and drive measurable adoption for enterprise customers. They work in a delivery team alongside Forward Deployed Engineers, turning complex business challenges into agentic AI deployments that go live. Engagements are focused and time-bound, typically 12 weeks or less, and may cover a single account or several customers at once.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the full value lifecycle (Identify, Commit, Deploy, Consume).
• Define the customer's Agentic AI strategy and roadmap, lead design workshops, agent design sessions and jobs-to-be-done analysis.
• Architect solutions across Salesforce's agentic AI platform, Data Cloud and enterprise systems, with responsible AI governance built in.
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption and expansion metrics, identify blockers early and drive value realisation.
• Partner with the Forward Deployed Engineers and keep the team aligned and on track.
• Develop customer solutions using AI-supported tools such as Cursor, Claude and Vibes.
• Act as the primary customer contact, presenting proposals and outcomes in business value terms.
• Assess customer readiness for AI adoption and guide change management and process transformation.
• Turn field insights into product feedback that influences the Agentic AI platform roadmap.

Required profile

• 4+ years in strategic solutioning, technical advisory or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services or technical advisory) is required.
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous engagements end-to-end.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time to customer sites.

Required skills

• Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform, Agentic AI and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, Java or Apex.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design, including agentic AI strategy, conversation design and responsible AI practices.
• Project and programme management skills; experience in regulated industries, change management or AI/ML beyond LLMs is even better.
