Director, Account Management

About the role

The Director, Account Management will lead Mastercard’s strategy for issuer card units in Chile, working closely with customers to identify, develop and realise business opportunities that drive growth and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a clear, insight‑driven strategy for multiple issuer card units in Chile.
• Research, identify and present potential business opportunities to customer management.
• Leverage Mastercard resources to support opportunity identification and execution.
• Manage negotiation of business proposals and ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
• Oversee successful completion of individual deals and delivery of revenue targets.
• Enhance customer relationships across functional areas, providing customised solutions and maintaining senior‑level contact.
• Develop issuing propositions covering core credit, debit, LVP, commercial programs and innovative solutions such as Mobile, InControl and PayPass.
• Support switch and value‑added services implementation.
• Act as an influential voice in strategy development, highlighting customer, technology and competitor trends.
• Provide market intelligence to account leadership for effective planning and execution.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑management skills.
• Proven experience in business development and relationship management for issuers.
• Ability to engage senior management and influence strategic decisions.
• Capacity to prioritise customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
