Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to shape and operationalize its evidence‑based learning model. The Director of Learning Strategy will drive system‑wide execution, raise academic standards, and serve as the public face of a movement that accelerates student learning through AI‑driven tutoring and mastery‑based progression.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning science into curriculum design, motivational architecture, and application development.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent results across school teams.
• Analyze data, interview stakeholders, and observe classrooms to produce ecosystem assessments and recommend targeted interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑stakes contexts, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in learning science, education, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading academic teams and delivering measurable learning outcomes.
• Deep experience with AI‑enabled tutoring, mastery‑based progression, and data‑driven instructional design.
• Strong ability to diagnose execution shortfalls and build high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills for advocacy on a global platform.
