Document Control Assistant - Data Center Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Document Control Assistant to provide operational support in managing documentation for data center construction projects, especially during the critical project closeout phase. The role supports the Document Controller in keeping documentation organized, reviewed and tracked according to compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, review and track all documentation required by compliance regulations for large-scale data center builds
• Maintain and update project-specific document folders, ensuring version control and proper filing of approvals, correspondence and compliance materials
• Assist in monitoring document workflows across engineering, procurement and construction teams so documents are reviewed and submitted on time
• Follow Document Control Guidelines and help ensure procedures meet client and company expectations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal documentation processes by identifying gaps and giving feedback

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in document control or project coordination, ideally in construction or infrastructure
• Technical or university degree preferred (Engineering, Architecture or Construction-related fields)
• Familiarity with data center or mission-critical project environments is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of compliance requirements and documentation tracking tools
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to learn document management platforms
