Electrical Construction Superintendent

About the role

FRAG Srl is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Construction Superintendent to lead electrical works on a science research and development building in Chile. You will coordinate, supervise and manage all electrical construction activities, ensuring they meet schedule, quality, safety and engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, layouts and technical documentation.
• Supervise cable pulling, cable‑tray installation, terminations and equipment installation.
• Oversee installation of MV/LV switchboards, transformers, UPS systems, MCCs and industrial automation equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning and Commissioning teams to verify activity compliance.
• Manage testing, inspection and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and review daily and weekly progress reports.
• Apply construction methodologies and IEC standards.
• Lead subcontractors, electricians, foremen and vendor specialists.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical construction experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Experience with industrial HSE procedures, Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) systems and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Proven background in MV/LV systems, power distribution and industrial installations.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Strong English communication; Spanish is a plus.
