About the role

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the daily management of the company’s accounting functions. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Santiago de los Caballeros and may be offered under a temporary contract depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the recording of all financial operations and maintain accurate accounting entries.
• Prepare, review, and file periodic accounting reports and financial statements.
• Control invoices, collections, and payments to ensure timely processing.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Collaborate with the finance department on budget planning and monitoring.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation archives.
• Ensure compliance with current tax and accounting regulations.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting and finance with experience preparing and supervising financial statements.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Analytical ability to interpret financial data, detect variances and suggest process improvements.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, teamwork, clear communication and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of spreadsheet tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
