Endoscope Technician I

About the role

Olympus is seeking an Endoscope Technician I to perform technical inspections, cleaning, and low‑complexity repairs on flexible endoscopes and related equipment. The role ensures high‑quality service delivery and supports the laboratory’s quality control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections of incoming and outgoing endoscopes to prepare budgets and verify compliance with manufacturer procedures.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, drying, and low‑complexity repairs on flexible endoscopes following established protocols.
• Execute disassembly, repair, assembly, and final functional tests on Olympus equipment.
• Maintain and improve the service laboratory’s quality control system, tool organization, and work environment.
• Document all activities in the company’s systems, including inspection forms and traceability records.
• Report discrepancies, process improvements, and handle laboratory supplies responsibly.
