Endoscope Technician I

About the role

The Endoscope Technician I is responsible for performing technical inspections, cleaning, disinfection and repair of Olympus endoscopic equipment. The role ensures high‑quality service delivery, compliance with manufacturer procedures and traceability of all work performed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform less‑complex repairs on Olympus endoscopes following defined disassembly, repair, assembly and functional test procedures.
• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and drying of flexible endoscopes to prepare them for inspection or part replacement.
• Conduct entry and exit technical inspections to generate budgets and verify repair compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain and improve the quality control system in the service laboratory, including tool organization and equipment tracking.
• Document all activities in the company’s system, update inspection forms and ensure traceability of services.
• Use internal platforms to measure and control technical service operations and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Handle laboratory supplies, tools and equipment safely and in accordance with the Quality Management System.
