Enterprise Architect, Financial Services

About the role

You will join Bain’s Enterprise Technology team within the digital capabilities practice, helping financial‑services clients modernize their technology strategy, architecture, and systems. The role focuses on aligning technology with business goals to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation across cloud, data, AI, and API ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Shape enterprise and solution architecture strategies aligned with client business outcomes.
• Lead the definition of architecture roadmaps, frameworks, and reference models for modernization, AI integration, and long‑term value creation.
• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, actionable strategies.
• Assess, select, and integrate vendor platforms, fintech solutions, and hyperscaler technologies, guiding buy‑versus‑build decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and senior executives on architecture decisions and trade‑offs.
• Influence, coach, and mentor client technology leaders and Bain consulting teams.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in enterprise and solution architecture, especially within financial services, core banking, and digital transformation.
• Strong business judgment and ability to advise senior stakeholders on complex trade‑offs.
• Experience delivering architecture strategies that support cloud, data, AI, API, and resilient design initiatives.
