Facilities Manager

About the role

InterSystems is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the operation of its LATAM office portfolio. Based in Santiago, you will ensure that all Class A office environments across Chile, Brazil, Colombia and other LATAM locations meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency and corporate compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day facilities operations and preventive/corrective maintenance across multiple sites.
• Lead office fit‑outs, refurbishments, expansions, relocations, downsizing initiatives and closures from planning through execution.
• Identify new office locations, conduct site visits, support lease negotiations and coordinate with landlords, brokers, Legal and Finance.
• Oversee lease administration, renewals, rent reviews and contractual obligations.
• Develop business cases, cost analyses and recommendations for real‑estate and facilities decisions.
• Coordinate architects, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain asset inventories, warranties, maintenance records and lifecycle management processes.
• Establish and manage relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers, handling RFPs, negotiations and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing facilities operations across several countries, preferably in LATAM.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, health & safety standards and business continuity requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead capital projects, negotiate leases and manage multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on cost control and risk mitigation.
