Field Technical Support Engineer – Product Development (Remote)

About the role

Bradken is seeking a Field Technical Support Engineer to act as the vital link between mining operations and our SAM engineering team. Working fully remotely, you will provide on‑site technical support, gather critical data, and help translate field insights into high‑value product designs for the global mining sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical inspections, wear assessments, and mill‑liner scanning during shutdowns and operational campaigns.
• Collect and analyse on‑site technical data, acting as liaison with the Central Engineering team to optimise new designs.
• Support root‑cause investigations and validate product performance under operational and installation conditions.
• Maintain strong technical relationships with clients through continuous field presence and multidisciplinary engineering support.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards in all field activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Execution Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in mining operations, concentrator plants, metallurgy, or related heavy‑industry environments.
• Strong problem‑solving orientation and technical mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously, organise schedules, and maintain a 360° safety culture.
