Field Technician – PV Cleaning Robots (Chile)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Field Technician to join our team in Maria Elena, Calama, Chile. The role focuses on the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) cleaning robots and associated equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our solar projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and calibrate PV cleaning robots on‑site.
• Diagnose technical faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and record service activities.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely support to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate status updates to clients.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering (certificate or diploma preferred).
• Basic knowledge of renewable energy, especially photovoltaic systems.
• Experience with installation, maintenance or repair of robotic or mechanical equipment.
• Strong attention to safety, quality standards and ability to work independently on‑site.
