About the role
IDB Invest is seeking a Financial Analyst Consultant to support both the Corporates Division and the Southern Cone Division. The role will contribute to the origination, pipeline development, transaction execution and knowledge management for projects in agribusiness, manufacturing, tourism and the digital economy across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain client relationships for the Corporates and Southern Cone divisions.
- Build project pipelines through upstream sector and project development.
- Execute transactions using a range of financial instruments, including loans, guarantees, debt capital markets, equity and quasi‑equity.
- Mobilize resources and coordinate technical cooperation initiatives.
- Serve as a central repository of institutional knowledge for covered sectors.
- Provide oversight to Country Representatives and Heads of Delivery Units.
- Report jointly to the Corporates Division and the Southern Cone Division.
