About the role

The company is seeking a senior leader to drive the full execution of a high‑impact Automated People Mover (APM) operation and maintenance project with international visibility. This role will serve as the main strategic and operational liaison with the client and ensure the project meets all contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the APM operation and maintenance programme.
• Guarantee alignment with client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client on strategic and operational matters.
• Manage project governance and oversee overall operational success.
• Coordinate collaboration across a consortium of multiple partners.
• Promote operational excellence, continuous improvement and robust risk management.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of experience in transport, mass‑transit, infrastructure or railway systems.
• Proven senior leadership experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Background working within consortiums, joint ventures or strategic alliances.
• Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance practices.
• Ability to navigate across diverse business groups and organisations.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with clients, authorities and strategic partners.
• Professional fluency in Spanish; advanced English is highly desirable.
